MALMÖ CITY X: SOUNDTRACK

Strange, progressive and groovy tunes from the darkest of concrete caves in Malmö city, Sweden. The Malmö City X Soundtrack contains both studio recorded, experimental arrangements by Galatheas Hage (Jacob Carlsson) and spontaneous lo-fi recordings of improvised jams by Immanuel Kontant and the barefoot double bass player Joakim Wladis, all inspired by Malmö’s concrete, skateboards, and the romantic analog imperfection of the Vidicon Cathode Ray Tube – the central piece of Malmö City X.

Galatheas Hage: Drums, Organ, Piano, Synthesizer: Jacob Carlsson. Double bass: Joakim Wladis. Immanuel Kontant: Organ, Drums: Jacob Carlsson. Guitar & Ping pong balls: Olle Wahlström.

BRUNDLE HAZE

Experimental, psychedelic, heavily down tuned and fuzz-oriented apocalypse-rock, some call it doom. Inspired by the analog sound of 60s and 70s progressive music, psychotronic cinema, and sometimes classical music elements such as Beethoven’s 7th Symphony in ”Zardoz”.

"Zardoz is a radiant magnum opus for doom fanatics and movie enthusiasts alike, an exemplary paradigm executed flawlessly by it's guileful use of samples and modified vintage sound machinery. The listener is lured on an audiovisual acid-trip of epic proportions that is as captivating as the story behind it's creation."
